Former President George H.W. Bush has become the oldest recorded man to give birth.
Doctors at Houston’s Methodist Hospital delivered a beautiful 7lb 14oz baby boy, who is being named Jerry. He was cheered on by wife Barbara, who has been unable to carry children since her 1837 menopause. This is the couple’s seventh child together.
Bush, 92, is best known for his role as 41st President of the United States, a reality competition which occurs every four years.
The parents were released today, and Jerry is expected to go home on Wednesday after the final tests for his unconventional birth are finished.
